NCL Launches New First Responder Discount With Bigger Savings on Select Cruises

Norwegian Cruise Line has launched a new discount program for first responders, giving eligible emergency and public safety workers 5% off any cruise fare, with bigger savings available on select sailings.
The new First Responder Cruise Discount applies to any cruise fare, any stateroom, and any sailing date once a guest is verified. NCL is also offering 15% off select sailings, but that higher discount only applies to eligible Guarantee staterooms, where guests choose the stateroom category but not the exact cabin.
Eligible first responders include law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and certain federal agents. Guests must verify their status through ID.me and have the discount linked to their My NCL account.
NCL says the discount can be combined with current promotions and Free at Sea, though some exclusions may apply. The discount applies to the verified first responder’s stateroom and is limited to one stateroom per verified first responder per sailing.
First responders can also book through a travel agent after enrolling in the program. According to NCL, guests can provide their Latitudes number to their travel agent once the discount is linked to their account.
The bigger savings may catch attention, but the 15% offer is more limited than the standard 5% discount. First responders will need to check eligible sailings and book a Guarantee stateroom for the higher discount to apply.
