Disney Cruise Line Names Its Next Ship Disney Believe, Set to Debut in 2027

Disney Cruise Line has announced the name of its next ship, and it’s officially the Disney Believe.
The reveal happened during The Walt Disney Company’s annual shareholders meeting, giving us our first real look at what’s coming next for the fleet.
The Disney Believe will be the fourth ship in the Wish class, following the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and the upcoming Disney Destiny. Each ship in this class has its own theme, and for this one, Disney is leaning into a concept centered around believing in your dreams and what’s possible.
That idea is expected to carry through the entire ship, from the design to the entertainment and onboard spaces.
Disney also shared that the ship will feature stories and characters from films like Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Moana, and The Little Mermaid. If you’ve sailed on the newer ships, you already know how Disney ties these stories into everything onboard.
The Disney Believe is scheduled to debut in late 2027, though details like itineraries and homeports haven’t been announced yet.
This new ship is part of Disney Cruise Line’s larger expansion, with plans to grow the fleet to 13 ships by 2031. That’s a big shift for Disney, which used to take a much slower approach to adding ships.
For now, this is mostly just a name reveal, but based on how Disney has rolled out its newer ships, more details will likely come out over time.
And if you’re a fan of Disney Cruise Line, this is another one to keep on your radar.
