  • Captain Kate McCue standing in front of the first Four Seasons Yacht under construction, wearing a hard hat and a work uniform. Photo credit: Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd, Joint Owner/Operator Four Seasons Yachts. McCue made history as the first American woman to captain a major cruise ship and became a fan favorite during her time with Celebrity, most recently leading Celebrity Beyond. Now, she’s shifting from large ocean liners to a smaller, high-end yachting experience with Four Seasons Yachts. Their first ship will have 95 suites, a nearly one-to-one guest-to-crew ratio, and suite sizes starting at 581 square feet—the largest in the industry. Four Seasons Yachts, a partnership with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, is bringing the luxury hotel brand to the water with a focus on exclusive experiences, spacious accommodations, and personalized service. The yacht will feature a 65-foot-long aft pool deck and a unique “Funicular” connecting different decks. This move comes after McCue announced her [departure from Celebrity Cruises](INSERT LINK), and now she’s set to bring her leadership to a brand-new venture in the cruise industry. For more details, visit Four Seasons’ official announcement.
